Fashion Beasts
Fashion Beasts is the creation of Tatjana Hutinec, an applied artist working in film and theatre, designing and fabricating special effects costumes, sets and props.
The phallic shape of the horn symbolizes fertility and sexuality. Its power has manifested in the horned deities and demons of countless religions and mythologies, and has been stolen by Man to assert their own power and divine mandate.
For centuries the dress has emphasized the seductiveness of womanhood. In Tatjana’s designs, feminine sensuality finds its greatest expression through the mercurial flow of silk and the languid caresses of the serpentine lines of her artwork.
Fashion Beasts depicts the modern Goddesses of Duality, imposing a balance between the masculine and the feminine, strength and sensuality that does not follow fashion trends, but encourages a statement of personality and attitude.
