Founded in 1976, Lewicki Transportation is a family-owned, community-based, and well-established company offering private charters as well as transportation by bus for schools, businesses and community-groups. Fleet, Amenities

We offer a variety of coaches, mini-coaches and school buses to meet your needs, and our mission is to facilitate the planning of safe, fun, seamless and stress-free trips. Our growing fleet includes 21, 25 and 33-passenger mini-coaches, 47-passenger executive motor coaches, as well as large school buses. Our coaches are all equipped with A/C, CD, DVD and PA Systems. We pride ourselves on keeping our fleet clean both inside and out.
Coaches are ideal for longer bus trips, and tours of Niagara Falls, Toronto or other major cities. They have comfortable seats, and amenities like DVD players, Air-Conditioning, CD players, PA Systems, and a restroom in the motor coaches. Our school/charter buses are also comfortable and offer a more affordable alternative to coach rental. They are perfect for pub crawls, school outings and shorter bus trips. Our mini-coaches are well-suited to smaller groups, offering a pleasant and more intimate ride.

Trains typically stop only in major cities, limited, of course to railway routes. Many airports are inconveniently located miles from the downtown core and popular tourist attractions. All of our vehicles are inspected and safety approved by the MOT (Ministry of Transportation) every six months.
We are insured for $10 million dollars professional automotive insurance. Our policy covers third-party liability, occupant liability and property damage. Proof of coverage is available upon request.
We are equipped with its own two-way radio frequency, and even have our very own tower
We adhere strictly to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act and US Federal Hours of Service regulations.
Drivers complete a thorough circle check of their vehicles every day.
Our maintenance crew clean and inspect our vehicles on a daily basis, and complete detailed weekly reports.
We carry out thorough license and criminal record background checks on all of our drivers.
We require our drivers to have a proven record of experience as a professional driver.
We have a strict policy of pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing for all drivers.

We conduct initial and ongoing driver safety training.

The services we offer vary greatly as they are based on the unique and individual needs of each customer. We have many school transportation contracts providing reliable and safe transportation. We offer special, discounted rates to educational institutions/community groups in need of regular or long-term transportation solutions. We work very closely with our school clients to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability.
For groups of any size, graduation, sporting events or school trips, we understand the importance and value of both community and education, and are happy to work with you to suit your transportation needs with your budget in mind. Our clients include the Toronto District School Board, University of Toronto, York University, Ryerson University, and various other private schools and universities.

Rates
For overnight trips outside of Toronto, groups are responsible for the drivers private accommodation. We would be happy to arrange this for your, but it might be cheaper to do it yourself, as hotels often offer a complimentary room for drivers when a group has booked a number of rooms. Although there are taxes in Ontario, groups who are crossing the border two or more nights are usually exempt from our taxes for those nights, and there is no sales tax in most states This is a sample of our daily rates. These prices are based on MTO (Canada) and DOT (USA) Hours of Service restrictions and do not include driver’s private accommodation (when staying overnight outside of Toronto), tolls, Ontario Park, Airport Pick-up or parking fees (if any). Prices are subject to HST (13% Harmonized Sales Tax).

Recently I attended a soccer tournament in Thunder Bay Ontario in which my daughter was playing. We traveled with Lewicki Transportation and I must say it was the best bus trip I have ever been on. The bus was clean and comfortable, the DVD and CD worked and the bathroom was spotless. We had two drivers who were simply wonderful. Recently I had the pleasure of escorting a group of business people from Germany on a tour of Canadian and U.S. facilities. WE chose Lewicki Transportation to fulfill our transportation requirements. It was the perfect choice. The rates were quite reasonable, the bus was always kept clean and tidy. The driver went above and beyond with his excellent service. He was always off the bus first to help the passengers on and off. As well, our driver had excellent knowledge of the geographical area, was amazing in handling such a large vehicle in heavy traffic conditions and was quite possibly the best driver I have ever seen. All in all it was a wonderful trip.
